Strawberry Ice Cream

I'm on an ice cream kick, so today I decided to make some strawberry ice cream. There are a bunch of ways to make delicious strawberry ice cream, from fresh to frozen strawberries, with egg or eggless, using traditional hand-spinners or my easy electric ice cream maker.

Here's a quick and simple way to make great ice cream!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of strawberries
2 cups of milk (whole)
3/4 cup heavy cream
1 tsp vanilla
Agave nectar to taste
A few strawberries for slicing

Directions:
Set 1/2 strawberries aside
Blend the remaining strawberries in a blender
Pour into a bowl
Add the milk, heavy cream and vanilla
Chop the 1/2 cup of strawberry into chunks
Add the strawberry and add agave to taste
Place in the ice cream maker
Serve slices of fresh strawberry

Comments:
If you don't have heavy cream, try 1 cup of yogurt instead.
We don't eat very sweet ice cream so we just add 1-2 tbsp of agave nectar. If you want sweeter ice cream you can add more agave or substitute the agave with 1 cup sugar.
