Homemade Peanut Butter

Last night I made my own peanut butter. It was super easy to make and very delicious!

All you need is peanuts and a food processor. I used about 4 cups of peanuts and chose to use 1/2 salted roasted peanuts and 1/2 unsalted peanuts (these were labeled as peanut butter stock), but you can make whatever quantity you like.
I like the half salted and half unsalted recipe, because I like my peanut butter a little salty, but you may choose to do all unsalted, all salted or even add a little bit of a sugar if you like your peanut butter sweeter.

Once you have your peanuts, put them all in the blender. Turn it on and after about 5-10 minutes (depending on the strength of your food processor), the peanuts will have turned into peanut butter. Blend them to whatever consistency you like.

You don't really need to add any oil, because the peanuts secrete their own oil, but if you want creamier peanut butter and haven't achieved that after 10 min, you may choose to add some peanut, olive or coconut oil.

Put the finished product in a container and store in the refrigerator (this is the best place to store it since there aren't any preservatives in it).

Enjoy!
